We had a wonderful Friday and Saturday with Heather Caldwell! We got to help Heather feed her parents' lambs and the kids took their first ride in the back of a truck (for several feet). The picture makes it seem like they thought it was the best thing ever but they opted for the cab any other chance they got. Audrey was generally afraid of the farm and Brayden's ultimate goal was to soak Heather with the water we were supposed to give to the lambs. Another of Brayden's priorities was taking a bath at Heather's (he remembered Heather's awesome bath toys). Thanks to the trip to the Caldwell homestead, he got his wish!

Bright and early Saturday morning we headed into Connersville for a "Day Out with Thomas". We did it right this year and arrived at the railway before the heat and crowds. Our first stop was in the play tent; the kids were less than impressed but Brayden showed-off his two words on the chalk board. The new favorite this year was the mini golf. Brayden even got a hole-in-one! Other activities included a "train" ride in the blue cars, snow cones, tatoos, and a petting zoo. The bounce house was short-lived after Brayden crashed head-first into another child's head. Another favorite was the "cave," a maze-like box. The attendant questioned who Audrey belonged to as she climbed the ladder. When I waved he noted that I would fit through just fine. I wasn't at all worried until Audrey didn't come out the exit with Brayden. Shortly after, though, she came out the entrance.
